Art is Better with Chicken . . . But Nuggets?

This week we’re getting ready for another one of our famous Wine and Chicken parties on Thursday, April 21st from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. We’re excited to be showcasing the work of artist Lynda Baddour – a talented artist that we are fortunate to feature!

Lynda has lived in Chapel Hill for 44 years, building her career by teaching first grade (17 years) and aerobics (19 years). She keeps herself active by playing tennis and creating art with pastel, watercolor, oil, ink and monotype printmaking. In her student years, she took one art class, but decided to pursue education as her main course of study. Most of her current painting and art education has taken place since her retirement in 1997. Connie Winters, who is located in Matthews, NC, is her current tutor. Baddour was fortunate enough to travel with Winters and an art group to Brantome, France to further her studies and experiment with plein aire painting. She also enjoys traveling to Wild Acres in North Carolina every year for three weeks to learn from instructors from The Ringling College of Art and Design.

We currently have her artwork prominently displayed on the walls of the Agency. To the right is one of my favorite pieces of her work. To see more of Lynda’s work – you’ll have to come to the Wine and Chicken party! To RSVP for the event, send Paige Zinn a message or call (919) 929-0225. Our office is at 104-A North Elliott Road in Chapel Hill, NC 27514.

Can’t wait to see you there!
