CHAPEL HILL, NC – July 10, 2013 – Dan Dunlop, Jennings Principal, will present at the 2013 Spirit of Women National Executive Meeting. This year’s theme for the national meeting is “The Elegance in Women’s Health” and will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from Wednesday, July 17 to Friday, July 19.
Dunlop will present “Stop Marketing and Start Community Building” on Wednesday, July 17 at noon. The presentation will explain why healthcare marketers need to stop marketing health services “to” women and start marketing “with” them by practicing online community building. Also, Dunlop will discuss how the role of the healthcare marketer needs to shift from being a distributor of content to a facilitator of online and offline conversations. By creating these online communities and conversations, healthcare marketers can then share useful health content and resources that deepen their target audience’s engagement with their organization’s brand.
The National Executive Meeting (NEM) is hosted every year by Spirit of Women for hospital members. The theme of the meeting is reinvented annually to focus on new goals and topics for the upcoming year. For more information, visit www.spiritofwomen.com.
