CHAPEL HILL, NC – May 20, 2014 – The New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) recently honored 54 hospitals, healthcare facilities and marketing/advertising agencies for excellence in marketing, public relations and communications. The awards were given at the NESHCo annual Lamplighter Awards held this year in Mystic Seaport, Connecticut.
Top winners were Jennings’ clients with a total of 32 awards: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, Signature Healthcare, Lowell General Hospital and Lawrence General Hospital. Additionally, Jennings received a Gold Award for its pro bono “Love the Lamp” campaign in 2013 promoting the Lamplighter Awards. Of particular note were the following Gold Award Winners:

The Lamplighters were established to showcase and honor healthcare communications excellence in the New England region. The 2014 competition included 365 entries from 69 organizations throughout the region. Entries were judged by the Georgia Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations, the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations, the Louisiana Society for Hospital Public Relations & Marketing and the Wisconsin Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society.
