Jennings Executive Named NESHCo Board President
Dan Dunlop Named Board President of New England Society for Healthcare Communications
The New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) has named Dan Dunlop its new Board President. He was first appointed to the Board in 2013 and has most recently served as vice president. Dunlop is Principal of Jennings, the North Carolina-based healthcare marketing agency. He brings extensive leadership experience and expertise in healthcare marketing and public relations to this position.
“I grew up in Maine and Vermont and work extensively in New England, so it is a real honor to have a leadership role with the New England Society for Healthcare Communications,” said Dunlop. “NESHCo is in a strong position thanks to the efforts of our board and our outgoing president, Mike O’Farrell. My goal is to continue driving innovation and strategy amid rapid healthcare transformation, and to increase our relevance within the New England healthcare marketing and communications community.”
In addition to his work at Jennings, Dunlop is an author, blogger, and public speaker. He serves on the editorial board of eHealthcare Strategy & Trends and is a contributor to a number of healthcare marketing publications and news services. Dunlop also serves on the judging panels of the Digital Health Awards and the National Health Information Awards. He is regularly called on to speak at national and regional conferences. He is a board member of the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (CHPRMS) and serves on the American Hospital Association’s Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD) Digital Engagement Taskforce.
