Jennings’ Executive to Present at SHSMD Connections Conference

CHAPEL HILL, NC – September 19, 2013 – Dan Dunlop, Principal of Jennings, the North Carolina-based healthcare marketing agency, will present at the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD) Connections Conference. This year’s conference will be held in Chicago, IL. from Sunday, September 29 to Wednesday, October 2.

On Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9:00 a.m., Dunlop will lead a workshop titled “More Than Words: Engagement through High Impact Storytelling.” The workshop will explore how video is emerging as an engaging storytelling tool for healthcare organizations and helping to make powerful connections with brand constituents such as physicians, patients and employees. Dunlop will share how Signature Healthcare has used video as an effective storytelling format to help them with the following goals: physician retention, physician recruitment, patient retention and patient recruitment. Sharing the podium with Dunlop will be Director of Communications of Northwestern Memorial Hospital Bonita Brodt and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Cynthia Wade.
