CHAPEL HILL, NC – November 11, 2013 – Dewey Mooring and Bruce Wlach of Jennings, the North Carolina-based healthcare marketing agency, will be featured speakers at the November Community Transformation Grant (CTG) Project Meeting. The event will be held on November 14th in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The Community Transformation Grant (CTG) Project, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), gives communities an important opportunity to develop and implement initiatives to reduce risk factors responsible for chronic diseases, the leading causes of death and disability. The goal of the CTG Project is to create healthier communities – and thereby transform the nation – by making healthy living easier and more affordable where people work, live, learn, and play.
Through their presentation, Mooring and Wlach will share relevant marketing strategies to promote healthy living and encourage positive lifestyle changes. The presentation will spotlight numerous trends in communicating healthy messages, including gamification and the building of online communities to discuss specific health issues.
