CHAPEL HILL, NC – March 7, 2011 – Jennings, the Chapel Hill advertising, branding and public relations agency, is excited to announce the most recent addition to its executive leadership team with the promotion of Dewey Mooring to vice president.
“Dewey has been a member of our leadership team for some time; this promotion finally gives him the formal title that matches his contribution to the company,” said President and CEO of Jennings Dan Dunlop.
In this position, Dewey will continue to prepare quarterly revenue projections and provide monthly financial updates for the management team. He will also pursue and participate in all major new business opportunities. Additionally, Dewey will continue to serve as the primary contact for select accounts and manage the account leadership team.
Prior to his promotion, Dewey served as the director of account services for Jennings, working with a number of the agency’s leading accounts such as Volvo Trucks North America, Time Warner Cable and the UNC Health Care. In this position, he provided strategic counsel and managed production for annual TV, radio and print campaigns. Additionally, Dewey led the development of agency’s proprietary social media program, “Social Fusion.”
Before finding his niche in advertising, Dewey worked extensively in broadcast, both in administrative and creative capacities for radio stations throughout the Triangle area of North Carolina.
Dewey attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a B.A. in Radio, Television and Motion Pictures.
