CHAPEL HILL, NC – May 26, 2011 – Jennings, the North Carolina public relations, branding and advertising agency, was presented with a Hermes Creative Gold Award for the 2010 North Carolina Prevention Report Card it produced for NC Prevention Partners. The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs as well as emerging technologies.
“We are very excited to receive a Hermes Creative Gold Award,” said President and CEO of Jennings Dan Dunlop. “It’s great to be involved in a project that allows us to use our creativity to help bring awareness to health issues in North Carolina.”
The NC Prevention Report Card grades North Carolina on how well it supports residents in being healthy. The report card monitors North Carolina’s successes in prevention as well as highlights areas that need more attention and investment. Grades are based on how easy it is for North Carolinians to quit tobacco, eat healthy and get more physical activity.
“We are honored to receive this award,” said NC Prevention Partners’ President and CEO Dr. Meg Molloy. “With this year’s report card providing a comprehensive look at the last decade of prevention in North Carolina, we are especially excited to be recognized for this issue.”
Entries are judged and awards administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. This international organization consists of marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web and freelance practitioners.
