CHAPEL HILL, NC – May 13, 2013 – Dan Dunlop, president and CEO of Jennings, the North Carolina-based healthcare marketing agency, will present at the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo) 2013 Spring Symposium. This year’s conference will be held in Newport, R.I. from Sunday, May 19 through Tuesday, May 21.
On Monday, May 20 at 1:15 p.m., Dunlop will present “Take One: Improving Engagement Through Online Video.” Sharing the podium with Dunlop will be Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for Tufts Medical Center, Brooke T. Hynes. The presentation will demonstrate the power of online video in engaging various audiences and brand constituents important to hospitals: referring physicians, employed physicians, consumers, community members and hospital employees. Dunlop and Hynes will share helpful tips for producing effective physician videos and ways to repurpose those videos, making them an essential element of an organization’s marketing platform.
“The symposium will touch on issues that are extremely important and relevant to healthcare communicators,” said Dunlop. “I’ve been fortunate to speak at a few NESHCo conferences, and I’ve always enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to share information with my healthcare marketing colleagues in New England.”
