Jennings Wins 19 National Aster Awards for Healthcare Marketing

CHAPEL HILL, NC – May 16, 2011 – Jennings, the North Carolina public relations, branding and advertising agency, was recently honored with 19 national Aster Awards for healthcare marketing.  The Aster Awards, one of the largest national competitions, is an elite program that recognizes healthcare professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts.

The Aster Awards is a national awards program dedicated to recognizing excellence in medical marketing. All entries compete against healthcare organizations across the country and are judged on the following criteria: creativity, layout/design, typography, production, knowledge transfer and overall quality. The 2011 Aster Awards received approximately 3,000 entries from across the United States as well as Canada and South America. Participant’s entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their category.

“It was an honor to have the number of healthcare organizations and agencies that participated in the 2011 Aster Awards Competition. The quality of this year’s entries went well beyond the judges’ expectations,” said Aster Awards Program Coordinator Melinda R. Lucas.
