Here’s a sample of a print campaign appearing this month for North Carolina State University. The ad appeared in a publication geared toward in-state business professionals.
While I’m generally a fan of this ad, it’s a quick simple read with good photography. I’m honestly more intrigued by the logo. If you’ve seen much of NC State’s marketing the last few years, you’ll have noticed how diligent they’ve been with their brand standards. The mark below has appeared consistently and singularly across mediums like print, signage, and broadcast for a number of years.
This is the first time we’ve observed the secondary NC STATE mark used beside the body copy. Not sure if this is a one-time design decision or a move to a new set of brand standards. I suspect the former but we’ll keep an eye out for additional news.
